25 of 32 down

So the season is still going...

I was thinking about a post on the Cleveland Tri Club forum. It was pick your top 5 of 2007. While my season is not yet done, I had to think a minute as there are so many to choose from!!! Perhaps next year I will spend a little less money and focus on quality over quantity. But for this year, racing has just been plain too much fun (except river run half when I was sick)!

YTD top 5 have been in no particular order-
Youngstown 1/2 marathon--I like the challenge of a hilly race early in the year!
Cleveland marathon-just because I got my BQ!
GCT Half-enjoyed going the new long distance
Twilight Trail Run-loved running with the girls and the post race beer afterwards!!
Portage Lakes Du- Great course, lots of familliar faces and just felt great!

You are an amazing racing lady! I don't know how you do it.

Hey, where is the Stomp the Grapes 1/2 mary?

That is a lot of racing!! You must recover very quickly from hard workouts.

BTW - while driving back to work on my lunch break I heard The Bloodhound Gang on the radio. Totally thought of you.

Oh yeah, I may still have Stomp the Grapes and maybe even the Fall classic half and maybe a few others if I feel frisky!!!

That is an insane amount of racing. Which ones were/are you peaking for? Do you have any downtime during the year?

Hey! You're blog changed!

There's never anything wrong with having fun. You've been doing great. You're definitely one tough cookie with all those races, especially those back to back races!

I am so excited about our little downtown running crew!

Hopefully I see you tomorrow. If not hope you have a great relay leg and then kick butt at the du on Sunday!!!
